Killian Mullarney talk on Bird Identification

Join Killian Mullarney, renowned bird artist and and international authority on bird identification in Cork on 01 February for this not-to-be-missed talk on a fascinating topic.

Killian’s illustrations grace what is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s finest field guides: that birders’ bible “The Collins Bird Guide”, and his talk, hosted jointly by Birdwatch Ireland West Cork and Birdwatch Ireland Cork branches, promises to be enlightening, entertaining and informative.

Tickets for the talk cost just €5 for Birdwatch Ireland Members, OAPs and students, €7 for non members and children under 14 are free. There’s also a raffle on the night with a first prize of one of Killian’s original sketches, and signed copies of the Collins Bird Guide as 2nd (Hardback) and 3rd (paperback) prizes.

Funds raised from ticket and raffle sales will be used for wild bird education and conservation projects in County Cork.
