Gobsmacking goshawk manoeuvrability put to the test

There’s some amazing footage of wildlife available online… some of it truly jaw dropping. This BBC footage from the woodland edition of “The Animal’s Guide to Britain” falls into that category.

It shows the staggering manoeuvrability of a stunning northern goshawk. No wonder these birds are supreme woodland hunters when they can move like this.

According information on the Golden Eagle Trust website 2-5 goshawk pairs are known to breed in Northern Ireland, and although there are no confirmed records of breeding Goshawk in the Republic of Ireland they are believed to be likely breeders in 3-5 counties.

Definitely one that’s on the “to see” list here… amazing birds!
